Let’s Have Fun with Fashion Week

Let’s have fun this week! I will be posting my behind the scenes look at not just Spring Summer  Fashion Week, but sneaky peeks at a few A/W NYFW collections first. The decision has been made
with Fashion Week/Month starting  why not step- up the fashion game a bit and bust out a fashion trend you might not normally wear? Then blame New York Fashion Week Fever for your choice- if your friends don’t understand.
On a side note, most of you who have been reading my post this month have been experiencing my #StyleMeFeb challenges here and on my InstaBeauty feed and get to see my work and play #OOTD choices. Some of my friends only get to see me in my morning, with that I just rolled on to the Running Club Track Outfits, sans makeup, you're lucky you don't see this.

The Fall Men's Fashion Week: Playful and Frisky Feeling

I'm not sure if I'm feeling playful because it's almost Valentines Day or if it's the Men's Fashion Week Shows like, the Dolce & Gabbana and Costume National, that I've been watching (over and over again)!

Breakfast with Kate Lanphear, Anna Wintour,Eva Chen and Natalie Massenet during New York Fashion Week

Mom and I got a late start to day 6 of NYFW. We are starving, so we head out to breakfast at one of our favorite local spots. Little did I know that within a half an hour I would be the sloppy egg in the middle of a Fashion Titan breakfast crumpet! You can't imagine who!

Fashion Week YouTube Lookbook

After a multitude of computer crashes (Thank you #NYFW social media and content) I've finally posted my Fashion Week Lookbook on my YouTube channel Beauty by SW.

Thanks to Valerie Lee Owner of Chateau Bel Age Boutique for the use of her beautiful store, I could live in there. Some of the outfits didn't get full OOTD during the world wide phenomenon know as New York Fashion Week simply because it wasn't quite Fall Fashion weather but still all the outfits I would wear to a dinner, event or luncheon. I have shopped with Le Bel Age for the better part of my life because Valerie's choices in fashion are timeless and chic.I will have to share my jewelry collection with you all sometime, I've amassed a small bioux store at home. Be sure to give the video a thumbs up and share or subscribe for your dose of fashion fun and adventures.
Thank you all for your support
Until Next Time
Happy Hunting

Mara Hoffman Runway Hits New Highs!

Mara Hoffman’s Fall Collection has hit a level of sophistication that had been missing in some of her past shows.  She has definitely hit a stride that I’m sure will translate into sales for this designer house.

Where to stay during NYFW spring

The Hudson Hotel during Fashion Week is the center of the universe for me.

I love this space. The library is a favorite spot, not just because of its comfort but because I imagine I’m the Duchess in the Gossip Girl episode with Nate Archibald, remember that one! (Here’s the link with caution). The Hudson seems to be a fashion insider favorite for NYFW. I see that two of my favorite fashion bloggers are staying here, peaceloveshea.com and kayture.com. My personal love affair with the Hudson and the Columbus Circle area started when I first attended the WWD CEO Summit. While exploring one evening  I came across Shun Lee Café, by far the best Chinese food in NY and its super close to the fashion action.

Parkchoonmoo NYFW Fall Fashion Ponytails

This collection is so at easy looking. Comfort is a definite must in an urban setting. The pieces are classic, great for a work day. The hair clean, I have a ponytail fetish as some of you know. I've had Karen Angel working on a faux ponytail for spring now it appears as if I can wear it through fall.

Katie Gallagher Fall NYFW

Katie Gallagher, a designer true to detail. This young talent is sure to be a success in the world of fashion. Mom was on the scene at The Standard High Line. The hair style; a modern vision of Victorian. The photos are the work of Karen Angel of Panache and Co Salon. She is on the Tigi Creative Team headed by the wonderfully talented Nick Irwin
